Brush pick-up is every Wednesday. This also includes the pick-up of leaves. All leaves must be in bags.

The 2020 Killen Founder's Day has been cancelled.  We want all those in our community to remain safe and healthy during these uncertain times.  We plan to be back in 2021 bigger and better!!  We appreciate all your support over the years and hope that you all will be back with us next year.

Planning Commission Meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month. if you have any questions regarding the Planning Commission meetings please contact Gina Kiser (Zoning Clerk) at 256-757-1246.

All recyclable materials will be picked up from behind the Senior Center every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The Maintenance department will then transport all materials to Florence Recycle Center.

Town Council Meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month.

The Council meetings start at 5:00 pm at Killen Town Hall. The agenda for each meeting will be posted on the front door of Town Hall on the Friday before the meeting. If you have any questions regarding the Council Meetings or would like to be added to the agenda please contact

Due to COVID, the Senior Center will not be rented thru 12/31/2020.  The Mayor And Council will then decide when it will be open for rental.

Effective 01/01/2020, the rate to rent the Senior Center has increased.  It will be $125.00 with a $50.00 Refundable Deposit if all rules are followed.  Call the Town Hall to reserve a date.
